PROJECT OVERVIEW
The new Bison Run School K–2 playground is an inclusively designed commercial school play space created to support early‑years development through climbing, exploration, sensory play, and imaginative interaction. This modern PlayBooster® playground design focuses on age‑appropriate climbers and ground‑level activities that help young children build confidence, coordination, balance, and essential motor skills.
A variety of engaging climbers encourages students to move, stretch, and navigate different routes, supporting physical literacy and problem‑solving in a safe, developmentally aligned way. These climbing components are intentionally selected to meet the needs of kindergarten to grade 2 learners, offering challenge without overwhelming younger children.
To enrich cognitive and sensory development, the playground incorporates several interactive learning panels. The Ring-a-Bell™ Reach Panel introduces sound‑based sensory play, the Navigator Reach Panel encourages tactile exploration and fine‑motor skill development, and the Tic‑Tac‑Toe Panel promotes social interaction, turn‑taking, and early strategic thinking.
Slides, climbers, and balancing elements round out this well‑balanced play environment, offering a mix of physical, cognitive, and sensory experiences. Every feature is thoughtfully chosen to support inclusive play, whole‑child development, and a welcoming outdoor environment for students at Bison Run School.
